As an amateur gardener, I carefully cut some dried up palm leaves which were dead and dropping downward. Instead of cutting all of the dead palm leaves, I only trimmed the outer edges of the palm leaves which were dropping downward instead of removing the whole palm leaf and creating huge open spaces on the palm plant.
